I recently started working with Tarna In hopes to improve my overall well-being and health with an Ayurvedic lifestyle. Not only have I lost weight, but I feel so much better, have more energy and just feel happier. She is amazing at her craft. She knows what she's talking about. In addition, she just started offering Shirodhara which I was lucky enough to Experienced last Sunday. The warm oil on my forehead Put me in a deep relaxation, the best way I could describe it is a massage to your brain and mind. Pure bliss. I cannot wait to do it again! I am beginning a more Ayurvedic lifestyle with the help of Lotus Honey Integrative Health! I am super excited about this! Little changes first
Day 3 of my Ayurveda changes. Feeling good. I would give myself an A for sticking to the plan as closely as I can. My biggest surprise has been the Nasya ...I am a fan! Thanks for thermos idea too! Lotus Honey Integrative Health
Day 8 of Ayurveda journey. Energy!!! What!?!?…I made it all the way through the week without physically and mentally burning out. Mood! I have been in a consistently pleasant mood all week. I am content with everything! I FEEL good. The meals I eat are satisfying. I am not starving by my next meal. I am hydrated. My hip is less painful. BONUS- My clothes fit again. I have lost 6 lbs. of inflammation and bloating. Thank you Lotus Honey Integrative Health for helping me get back on track.
Day 17 of Ayurveda cleanse. I have mostly stuck to it I still have ama so am sticking to it a little longer BUT I get to add back a few things like tomatoes and onion in moderation AND I tried the tongue scraper (oddly satisfying and will keep doing) AND I still feel amazing. I have much more energy especially at the end of the week. There are a few more things that have drastically improved such as my hip bursitis, overactive bladder and sleeping through the night again. I am grateful for Lotus Honey Integrative Health.

Getting a ShiroBliss session with Tarna was a journey into my deepest sense of Self, profoundly, somatically felt inside my third eye. It was like a fast track to years of meditation, opening a pathway I can still access weeks later now. It was wonderfully soothing and relaxing, as well as mentally cleansing.

The abhyanga oil treatment was very nourishing and healing. I look forward to my next appointment.

The knowledge and support that I have received from Tarna in order to develop a more balanced lifestyle is precious to me. I have learned more about myself, tried new processes, expanded my daily self-care routine and become more aware of balance vs. imbalance. When I stay aware and practice what I have learned, I feel amazing physically and mentally. The cost for this support is money well spent and more productive than visiting my PCP!!!!

I have a Masters of Science Degree in Ayurveda and Integrative Health and I am an RYT500 with additional background as a Respiratory Therapist. I am also a certified Shirodhara and Abhyanga technician.
Deeply rooted in the principles of Ayurvedic medicine, I specialize in holistic treatments that integrate body, mind, and spirit. My approach uses natural therapies, dietary guidance, and herbal remedies to restore health and balance to individuals seeking natural and preventive health solutions.
As a visionary entrepreneur, I've successfully founded wellness initiatives that advocate and apply holistic health strategies. My coaching extends beyond traditional methods, empowering clients with personalized wellness plans that encompass physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance.
With dual expertise in respiratory therapy and yoga, I uniquely combine my understanding of cardiopulmonary health with yoga’s therapeutic practices. This synergy enhances my ability to teach breathing techniques and physical postures that improve respiratory efficiency, overall health, and well-being.
This blend of expertise allows me to offer comprehensive wellness solutions, fostering transformative health journeys for my clients.
I found myself working in hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist. I'd always had an interest in natural and homeopathic remedies. It was an interesting experience to work with the breath both as a yogi and a Respiratory Therapist. However, many of my patients were struggling and literally fighting for their lives to breathe, a symptom of larger issues. Some patients smoked and despite being on a ventilator only an hour before, they had no desire to change their habits. But others would look with regret, and express how much they wished they had known better or done things differently. As a continuing yogi, I realized that it was indeed symptom management I was doing and that those that wanted to change seemed to lack the direction or often the support to change their habits. I realized that THAT was true medicine and would get to the root cause of the suffering my patients were experiencing.
So with the realization that prevention and support were better aligned with my desires to help people, I pursued a health and wellness coaching certification through the Catalyst Coaching Institute. My interest and practice in Yoga, and experience with the changes yoga made in my life choices, led me to also pursue my yoga teacher training. It was during the teacher training with Shannon Paige at The School of Embodied Poetry that I was introduced to Ayurveda. It was a brief introduction, a suggestion to read a short reference book and use ghee. It was logical. It was practical. It was so simple! THIS WAS THE MISSING PIECE! And so, with a desire to learn more of this holistic natural medicine system, I enrolled at Maharishi International University to study Ayurveda.
I have since graduated and opened my own practice in Grand Junction, CO where I see clients for various ailments and discomforts. Empowering those clients to make lasting changes by introducing them to simple techniques and adjustments that make a massive impact on their health and overall wellbeing.
I am also on the board for the Colorado Ayurvedic Medical Association whose mission is to spread awareness and accessibility of Ayurveda, and Orange Door Community Wellness whose mission is to make yoga and other wellness modalities accessible to populations that might not otherwise have access for various reasons.
